Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Our goal is to provide a safe, secure, professional, and respectful environment for all users.
This policy applies to all users of GATHWAY, including individuals, organizations, recruiters, educational institutions, and enterprise customers.
2. Professional Use
GATHWAY is intended to support professional development, career planning, education, and workplace productivity.
Users are expected to use the platform responsibly, respectfully, and lawfully.
3. Compliance with Laws
You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using GATHWAY.
You may not use the platform to facilitate unlawful activities or encourage others to do so.
4. Account Integrity
Users must not:
Create fake accounts.
Impersonate another individual or organization.
Share accounts without authorization.
Provide false identity information.
Use stolen credentials.
Circumvent account restrictions.
Each account is intended for use by the registered user unless an approved organizational feature allows otherwise.
5. Security
You must not:
Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
Interfere with platform security.
Probe or scan for vulnerabilities without authorization.
Introduce malware, ransomware, viruses, or malicious code.
Attempt denial-of-service attacks.
Circumvent authentication or authorization mechanisms.

6. AI Usage
Users must not use GATHWAY AI to:
Generate fraudulent employment documents.
Create fake qualifications or credentials.
Produce unlawful content.
Generate discriminatory, hateful, violent, or abusive material.
Facilitate scams or phishing.
Misrepresent AI-generated content as verified fact.
AI features are intended to assist—not replace—professional judgment.
7. User Content
Users are responsible for content they upload, create, or share.
Content must not:
Violate intellectual property rights.
Contain malware or harmful code.
Include unlawful material.
Harass or threaten others.
Promote violence or terrorism.
Contain child exploitation material.
Be fraudulent or deceptive.
Infringe another person's privacy.
You must have the necessary rights or permissions to upload any content to GATHWAY.
8. Respectful Conduct
Users must not:
Harass other users.
Bully or intimidate individuals.
Use discriminatory or hateful language.
Threaten violence.
Encourage self-harm or criminal activity.
Spam or send unsolicited communications through the platform.
We expect all users to contribute to a respectful and professional community.
9. Intellectual Property
Users may not:
Copy or distribute GATHWAY software without authorization.
Misuse GATHWAY trademarks or branding.
Reverse engineer the platform except where permitted by law.
Infringe copyrights, patents, or trademarks belonging to others.
10. Automated Use
Without prior written authorization, users may not:
Scrape the platform.
Use bots to collect data.
Automate account creation.
Perform excessive automated requests.
Circumvent usage limits.
Approved API access, where offered, must be used in accordance with applicable terms.
11. Fraud Prevention
The following activities are prohibited:
Identity fraud.
Resume fraud.
Credential fraud.
Employment scams.
Financial scams.
Phishing.
Money laundering.
Misrepresentation for professional gain.
We may investigate suspected fraud and cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities where required.
12. Enforcement
If this policy is violated, GATHWAY may take one or more of the following actions, depending on the severity of the violation:
Issue a warning.
Remove offending content.
Restrict specific features.
Suspend an account.
Permanently terminate an account.
Report unlawful activity to appropriate authorities where required by law.
Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to respond before taking action.
13. Reporting Violations
Users are encouraged to report:
Security concerns.
Fraud.
Harassment.
AI misuse.
Copyright infringement.
Other policy violations.

14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy as GATHWAY evolves.

Continued use of GATHWAY after an updated policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy, subject to applicable law.
